  HALCON Embedded lets you exploit the power of a comprehensive machine vision library on embedded systems. A new platform is now supported: HALCON Embedded for OMAP4 systems (e.g. PandaBoard or PHYTEC). Registered customers can download HALCON for this embedded platform.

  New revision 4.11 of the HALCON 9.0 / 10 SaperaLT interface released which fixes a problem with delay and duration parameters with some frame grabber boards, where valid values could not be set (registered customers can download it here).
 
New maintenance release 10.0.2 for HALCON 10

  The newest maintenance release 10.0.2 of HALCON 10 includes enhancements, documentation updates, and fixes of all currently known bugs. Have a look at the release notes for a detailed description of HALCON 10.0.2. Registered customers can download the new release or a package to update an older release of HALCON 10.
 
New revision of the HALCON GigEVision interface

  New revision 4.8 of the HALCON 9.0 / 10 GigEVision interface released which comes with new version 1.0.6.4 of the underlying HALCON GigE Vision Streaming Filter including a bug fix to avoid lost images in case of occasionally delayed packets. Furthermore, the new HALCON GigEVision interface revision provides several bug fixes, in particular regarding the used image size in case of binning/decimation and the internal color conversion in case of >8 bpp Bayer formats (registered customers can download it here).
 
New revision of the HALCON GenICamTL interface

  New revision 4.4 of the HALCON 9.0 / 10 GenICamTL interface released which includes several bug fixes and minor enhancements. In particular, the new interface revision now supports chunk data via the operators grab_data and grab_data_async, and enables to get notified in case of any device-specific events via user-specific callbacks. Furthermore, the behavior of the operator grab_image has been changed if the device's acquisition mode was set to 'Continuous' and the internal color conversion has been adapted to use the information provided by the current buffer (registered customers can download it here).
 
New revision of the HALCON uEye interface

  New revision 4.7 of the HALCON 9.0 / 10 uEye interface released which provides several new parameters to query the internal timestamp of the last grabbed image, to specify the number of internally used buffers, to get information about occurred and missed trigger events, and to set the internal timeout value. Furthermore, the new interface revision fixes a bug in the operator grab_image_async in case of continuous grabbing when called after aborting the previous grab (registered customers can download both the interface as well as the underlying driver here).
 
New revision of the HALCON pylon interface
  (November 16, 2011)
  New revision 4.11 of the HALCON 9.0 / 10 pylon interface released which provides bug fixes in the operatore open_framegrabber regarding accessing a device via its serial and device number. Furthermore, the new revision includes a bug fix in the operator close_framegrabber if the 'exposure_end' callback function was registered before (registered customers can download it here).
 
New revision of the HALCON SICK-3DCamera interface
  (October 31, 2011)
  New revision 4.7 of the HALCON 9.0 / 10 SICK-3DCamera interface released which has been adapted to the new SICK icon API 4.3 with support of the eBus driver also for 64-bit Windows. Besides several bug fixes (in particular regarding lost packets when setting specific parameters and regarding message boxes of the SICK error handler), the new interface revision includes new parameters to query the current camera status, to delay the start of the camera, and to force the use of the socket driver (registered customers can download both the interface as well as the underlying driver here).

  New revision 4.1 of the HALCON 10 SwissRanger interface released which allows now to read also offline images from SwissRanger stream (SRS) files. New revision of the HALCON OpenNI interface

  New revision 4.1 of the HALCON 10 OpenNI interface released which supports multiple 3D sensors and enables the use of the internal calibration data. Furthermore, the new revision is based on newer versions of the underlying driver and SDK, and includes updated HDevelop example programs, in particular showing how to create a sensor-specific calibration file (registered customers can download it here).
 
New revision of the HALCON LuCam interface
  (September 27, 2011)
  New revision 4.2 of the HALCON 9.0 / 10 LuCam interface released which is based on the LuCam SDK version 6.1 and supports now also the GigE cameras from Lumenera. Furthermore, the new revision enables using the snapshot acquisition mode and provides more accurate information via the operator info_framegrabber (registered customers can download it here).
 
New revision of the HALCON pylon interface

  New revision 4.10 of the HALCON 9.0 / 10 pylon interface released which allows the configuration of all features (not the grabbing) of Basler Camera Link cameras. Furthermore, the new revision disables the setting of external trigger parameters during the call of the operator open_framegrabber (registered customers can download it here).

Furthermore, the new interface revision provides an improved internal buffer handling, new parameters to configure pixel clock and line scan cameras, and includes several bug fixes regarding Windows x64 memory management and the parameters 'continuous grabbing', 'image_available', and 'grab_timeout' (registered customers can download it here).

  New revision 4.7 of the HALCON 9.0 / 10 MatrixVisionAcquire interface released which supports now also the mvIMPACT Acquire pixel format ibpfBGR888Packed, the handling of multi-value properties in the HDevelop Image Acquisition Assistant, and the new parameter 'do_invalidate_property_cache'. Furthermore, the new interface revision includes bug fixes regarding grabbing color images and the parameters 'do_abort' and 'grab_timeout' (registered customers can download it here).
